Constructed in the 1920’s by the family, the lodge was so named by the large solid granite rock around which the house was built. A neighborhood landmark on Cherry Street and an enclave for the “summer folk”. Approx. 40 redwoods, including old growths and beautiful wooded halos.  Located near the Russian River, Johnson’s beach and Guerneville, the oldest continuously operated camp in California, traces its history back 113 years.
