Steve Ussery joined Corcoran Global Living Marin Office in 2018. With over 38 years experience in the real estate industry, Steve puts his expansive knowledge to work for homebuyers and homeowners. Steve initially worked at Title companies, ultimately building a successful practice as an escrow officer. He became a Realtor to have a more flexible schedule that allowed for him to give back to the community.
Steve was recently awarded with the Highest Number of Transactions closed for an individual Agent in Marin County with his past company.
His deep knowledge of this multi-faceted industry allows Steve to come up with creative solutions to any situation that may arise. A 3rd generation Realtor, Steve has had the benefit of living in Corte Madera, Larkspur & Marinwood. Steve currently resides in Novato with his wife Betsy, a Systems Analyst at the Novato Unified School District. Their daughter, Caitlyn, received her degree in Business at Chapman University, and is now working as Escrow Assistant with Old Republic Title in Greenbrae. Caitlyn is now the fourth generation of the Ussery family in the Real Estate field!
Steve sells “The Golden side of the Golden Gate,” Sausalito through the wine country. He is known for staying level headed during even the most difficult negotiations. He has received many referrals based on his ability to stay focused on his client’s goals.
Steve believes in the importance of volunteering. He served as a Director on the Marin County Board of Realtors, as a co-chair for the Novato Unified School District Parcel Tax Oversight committee, and the NHS Sports Boosters Board. In addition to these positions, he was named Positive Coach of the Year twice in the Novato Girls Softball league. He has also coordinated donation deliveries for Respecting Our Elders.
Steve is a member of CAR, NAR, MAR, and is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). An avid music fan who collects and sells rock and roll memorabilia.
