Sales Associate Ricardo Gutierrez joined Terra Firma Global Partners Sonoma office early in 2018 and brings an extensive and varied background in client services to his real estate practice in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties.
A resident of Sonoma County for more than three decades, Ricardo started his real estate career in November of 2014 and specializes in representing first-time buyers, relocation buyers new to the North Bay, 1031 exchange sellers/buyers, investment transactions and buyers using FHA and VHA loans. He is a Glen Ellen Resident that was born and raised in Santa Rosa, moved to Los Angeles at age 25 and after 20 years in Southern California returned to the North Bay in 2011 – originally to Petaluma.

Ricardo’s success in the past can be attributed to his direct and open communication style with clients and a reputation for honesty and integrity. He also works hard to stay informed and educated regarding the housing industry so he can be a reliable source of information for his clients and provide excellent market knowledge.
Prior to working as a REALTOR®, Ricardo was a Territory Sales Representative (Sonoma and Marin counties) for Kellogg Co. based in Battle Creek, MI. He sold core Kellogg, Kashi and Keebler brands to established grocery and retail stores including Safeway, Lucky, Target and Walmart. He was also responsible for merchandising stores and managing in-store promotions.
In Los Angeles, Ricardo held a management position at LaPeer Beauty, LP in Beverly Hills, a fast-paced retail store with over 20 employees. He was also the Los Angeles County representative for Cincinnati, OH-based Proctor & Gamble’s line of beauty and cosmetic products. Ricardo was also project manager for Villa Savoia Interior Design in Beverly Hills and also served as an account manager for Team Toyota in which he managed all sales requisitions for Financing, Lexus, Showrooms and Racing Development teams.
He is a Food for Thought volunteer, providing groceries and services for local HIV and AIDS-affected residents and also serves Pets Lifeline as a volunteer (he loves the kitties!).
In his personal time Ricardo likes to stay active. He enjoys working out, hiking and playing sports – baseball, volleyball, basketball and football (he likes watching those sports too). He also likes camping, cooking (authentic Mexican thanks to his mom!) and gardening, with an emphasis on food and flora. Ricardo is a novice painter, enjoys dancing and loves music as a clarinet and piano player as well as an active listener.
