Sales Associate Julie Kitchens joined Corcoran Global Living Sebastopol office in 2017 to embrace her beloved Sonoma County community and help others to achieve one of life’s biggest goals of owning a home there. She started in the real estate industry in 2004 with a firm based in Emeryville, originally generating mortgages for home buyers before transitioning to sales, serving single-family home buyers and sellers in Oakland and the I-80/I880 corridors. Prior to joining Corcoran Global Living, Julie worked with a Santa Rosa-based residential real estate services company.
Her business background also includes work as a medical assistant in a cardiology and endocrinology office – she earned a Medical Assistant Certificate from Empire College, and also worked in the restaurant industry managing the front of the house.
Julie was raised in West Sonoma County and serves the residential real estate market throughout the county, but particularly in the areas she is passionate about and has the most knowledge – the Russian River, Cazadero, Sebastopol, Graton, Occidental and Santa Rosa.
“My perspective on caring for my clients is so similar to how I feel about my family,” she said. “They become a part of my community, and as appreciative as they are to have bought or sold their homes, I am far more thankful for them and their trust. My clients get my complete loyalty and commitment to putting their needs first.”
She enjoys both the people and the process — the rush of searching high and low for the right home, the thrill of the offering process and the success in seeing it come to fruition.
When not serving her clients at Corcoran Global Living, Julie can be found volunteering at her children’s schools and supporting Girls on the Run, an organization to help young girls build self-esteem and life skills through physical activity. She especially loves spending time with her family, including on the picturesque Sonoma County ranch where she grew up.
