Napa

When most people think about the Napa Valley in California they often think of the rich history and romance of the world acclaimed wine region. For those of us who work, play and live in Napa we think about, not only our famous wines of course, but all of the many attributes that make up one of the most beautiful areas in the world. From Calistoga’s famous hot springs and the “Old Faithful Geyser” to the ridge tops of Robert Louis Stevenson Park you can enjoy hiking, biking, boating, horseback riding and just about any outdoor recreation you can imagine. For all of these reasons along with some of the best food and lodging you will find anywhere the Napa Valley is one of the top tourist attractions in the world.

Just as Napa is diverse in things to do and see so is the population that call Napa Valley home. From the rich and famous to grandma next door you never know who might show up to take advantage of the theater, a musical event or just an old fashioned family barbeque. There aren’t many places that can offer a small town environment with the features and benefits of a major metropolitan area but somehow they seemed to have figured out a way. To me the people are really what make Napa such a special place to live, work and play… the other things are just the icing on the cake.
