Summer Stubblefield

Sales Associate

Summer joined Terra Firma’s Sonoma County Offices in 2016, after more than 10 years of unique hospitality industry experience. The Bay Area native brings to the job a strong passion for customer service, having dedicated herself to delivering quality experiences to clients, from events to vacations and now dream homes.

Summer showed strong initiative and people skills early on, starting a babysitting business at the age of 10 and playing both volleyball and softball for St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School in Vallejo, Calif. Having grown up in the real estate business — both her mother and grandfather were successful brokers — the fourth-generation Benician studied Hotel Management and Human Resources at Chico State University, spending summers training in Mackinac Island, Mich.; Cork, Ireland; Incline Village, Nev.; and Rancho Bernardo, Calif.

“I loved meeting the guests from all over the world and getting the opportunity to enrich their vacation in a positive way,” she said.

After graduation, Summer followed her love of sports, travel and hotels to an Event Manager role for a sports travel company. “I traveled the world with my clients, creating magical moments they would always treasure: the Super Bowl, World Cup, a walk around Augusta National Golf Club and more. We did it all! It was a wonderful and adventurous decade on the road, but home was calling my name.”

Returning to Northern California, the straightforward, dedicated customer-service professional sought a real estate company that shares her commitment to exceeding the client’s expectations. Terra Firma not only embraces that customer-service approach, it also provides a supportive team environment. “I love to deliver happiness. It’s the perfect fit for me,” said Summer, who will focus her real estate services primarily on Petaluma, her beloved hometown.

When not serving her real estate clients, Summer serves others, including volunteering her time to her son’s charter school and the River Montessori Foundation, a parent-led group that raises money for the school and builds community among its families. Her passions include family, snowboarding, yoga, local and organic foods, and traveling to Lake Tahoe, her “happy place.”

Client Experience

I am considering selling my home in Ross and downsizing to Petaluma. I asked Summer to take me out to see some properties so that I could identify the features I'm looking for in a house and what it will cost. As we went through each one I was able to identify what things were important to me by complaining what was missing. I learned about East Petaluma and West Petaluma and city vs. country in the West. Most realtors want to know up front what I want so they can show it to me. Summer was willing to invest the time to do it my way and discover what I liked and didn't like. Now I'm a customer for life. Summer sold me on Petaluma and has exceeded my expectations for a realtor. Most agents focus just on moving houses. Summer focuses on moving a family to a place they love and creating a customer for life. I prefer the latter. Michael Thoma
