Sara joined Terra Firma’s Sonoma Office in 2016, bringing to the company more than 20 years of local knowledge and a passion for serving others.
“I was attracted to the approachability that surrounds Terra Firma Global Partners (TFGP) and its agents,” said Sara, who began her real estate career as a Sotheby’s assistant. “As someone who is all about family and community, I found myself yearning for a brokerage who is about the same and that is TFGP.”
The California native started at Terra Firma as Lani Gullotta’s assistant and six months later began serving as her junior partner. Knowing the market and people and being able to learn from such a talented team of agents gives Sara a strong foundation for real estate success.
“We must create a sense of calm and understanding for our clients,” she said. “I pride myself on being a strong communicator and this is the cornerstone of my business philosophy.”
Sara’s parents are active real estate investors and gave her a thirst for the industry and a deeper knowledge of real estate in Sonoma. At Sotheby’s just last year, she played an integral role in the sale of her family’s mixed-use property on Broadway in Sonoma, an experience that really spurred her on to get a real estate license.
After several moves, Sara’s family settled in the Sonoma Valley in 1993. Her schooling took her from there to Santa Rosa, then to San Francisco and eventually to Vermont, where she collected a college degree and a husband. Justin and Sara welcomed their two daughters, Amelia and Matilda, in their first two years back in Sonoma.
In her spare time, she supports the Sonoma Valley Mother’s Club, the charity F.I.S.H. (Friends In Sonoma Helping), The Sonoma Women’s Club, The Sonoma Mentoring Alliance and the Sonoma Speaker Series. She loves traveling, getting outdoors and, most of all, spending time with her daughters, whether it’s swimming, ballet, soccer or periodic retreats to Lake Tahoe.
